If the BMWs have another weekend like that, Collard and Onslow-Cole will be contenders. It does look like Neal and Shedden are in prime position, though, particularly given the MG's dodgy reliability this year.

Well race 1 was very boring.
Hopefully races 2 and 3 will be better.

All in all a very good weekend for Honda with both their drivers increasing the gap to Plato.

Plato seemed to have the advantage in the dry but the next two races were very wet and the Honda looked to have a better set up.

It's going to be a struggle for anyone to beat Shedden and Neal now.

Brogan I have been religiously watching the BTCC, it has been quite compelling this season, and your notes have reminded me when they are on, I just can't be arsed to comment normally!

I predict some strange winners this weekend. The cumulative boost penalties for the leading runners will push them right down the order at straight-line-Silverstone. Mat Jackson perhaps?

The top three are closer than they've been for a while now.
The next two races today are going to be crucial.

Neal's weekend goes from bad to worse.
His car was on fire but fortunately he managed to stop, get out and extinguish it.

Pleased to say that he wasn't injured.

Sigh...Plato retires again when comfortably in the lead.
With the MG reliability, he's never going to win.

I can't see past Shedden now for the title this year.

Excellent drive from Plato in race three (so far), although the speed advantage he has is ridiculous.

Neal is out again and doesn't score a single point in all three races.
