news coming out of BTCC is a worrying one. a few teams uncertain they will be racing which isnt good as we gone from 29 to 20 very recently. only 13 of the 24
available slots are confirmed & some huge drivers missing or not confirmed. like turkington, huff, cook, butcher

i cant believe Colin Turkington wont be on the grid next yr. its unthinkable that 1 of its greatest drivers cant find a way due to commercial problems. he will be a huge miss

of course, i fully understand money is very important. but it worrying when someone like Aiden Moffat has ended up in championship winning car. dont mean to be disrespectful but he's done nothing to merit it sporting wise. excluding reverse grid races hes only won 1 race & been on podium twice in 6 years. for 2 of them years his teammate won the title back to back, while he finished 15th & 8th

I've always said it needs more exposure. It's great that the BTCC has a UK terrestrial TV deal but that's no good if it's stuffed away on ITV 465.

Sure, show the first two races on ITV4 but then for the final race switch to the main channel, show some catch up highlights of the first two races then show the final race live.

Promote the shit out of it and make people want to watch. More viewers, more revenue.

i know that ITV4 is there sports channel. everything goes on there but i am surprised considering how low quality sunday afternoon tv is that they dont simulcast on ITV1, More viewers, more advertising revenue you would assume. than old repeats of Midsomer Murders & Tipping Point

have the full day on Itv4 but then go
10.30am - 12pm - Race 1
2pm - 3pm Race 2
5pm - 6pm Race 3
