Le Mans 2016 WEC

Davidson had a storming stint in the early hours to pull #5 back into contention. They ended up behind the same safety car group, then Buemi passed Conway on the restart and has pulled away at ~1s/lap.

The Porsche is definitely still in contention, but it's going back and forth with the pitstops. They're changing the tyres more often, which is costing a lot of time.

Current average stint laptimes:

Buemi (Toyota #5) 3:24.2
Conway (Toyota #6) 3:25.7
Lieb (Porsche #2) 3:24.0
Duval (Audi #8) 3:25.4

Haha, talk about tempting fate...

The #5 had a nose change behind the Safety Car, but I think there was damage from a tap or maybe kerbs, can't quite remember. No hint of anything mechanical as yet. More than five hours to go though!

Been dipping in an out of Le Mans as I usually do. Was very impressed with Buemi's stint earlier on but no one has done a Nick Tandy standout stint like last year.

I am rooting for Porsche car number two but I reckon the 5 car probably has it.
