Taekwondo is a sport that doesn't allow punches to the head and yet positively encourages kicking the head.

Taekwondo is my favourite martial art.

A friend of mine was up for Olympic selection about 25 years ago.
I used to help him train and his speed and power were impressive.
I took a couple of wayward hits and it bloody hurt

My uncle was a black belt in Judo but unfortunately he was killed in a match when he was thrown off the Matt and hit his head on the solid floor...
