If you don't go until you hear the gun then no one would ever false start.
If you go before the gun then you are trying to cheat. Red card is deserved.
I think they still have the choice of a yellow card judging from what he commentators were saying, but I suppose that is reserved for someone who slips in the blocks of something....
P'raps the dsq rule on false starts was brought in to stop some (and there are a few 'gamesmen' in athletics) from unnerving their competitors by going too soon and then having to regroup. Just a thought.
Yep looks like we are going to see a race that's for sure I'll bet we will see more action in those few seconds than we saw in the whole of the Monaco and Hungarian Grand Prix put together....
