They've changed the attack mode a bit now rather than 2 x 4 minute boost . Its up to 8 minutes so you can change the attack mode between your two runs. I think Taylor Barnard could be an interesting one to follow because he quit F2 for do Formula E with Mclaren but at 20 years old he still has time to transition to F1 if he wants it

I only got to see race 2, which was interesting, although a lot of the stuff that goes on is too heavily manufactured. And what's this nonsense with a "peloton" where different drivers take turns in the lead?

Race 1 was brilliant, a rarity, full attack & proper racing

Race 2 was bit crap so you were certainly unlucky. its because FE have cocked up last few years, so either the cars are too quick for batteries or races are too long. so to make to the end of the race they have to go in massive energy save by drafting & at its worst ive seen drivers go from 10th to 2nd in 1 braking zone by braking normally. it is the biggest issue for Formula E faces
 

The Race learned at the Jeddah E-Prix in February that McLaren CEO Zak Brown gave notice to team principal of the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team, Ian James, that it would not continue into Gen4 and that alternative commercial, naming and manufacturer partnerships would need to be sourced.

The Formula E team is known to be already putting together a fresh package with a registered manufacturer and also talking to key potential investment groups to continue for Gen4. The McLaren FE team was created from the previous Mercedes EQ entry in 2022 and entered the Gen3 era with majority backing from Saudi Arabian โ€˜future cityโ€™ initiative NEOM.

That structure also involved an agreement for the entire Gen3 rules-set with Nissan, which is the manufacturer partner for the team, supplying the powertrain. The deal with title partner NEOM is known to have been until 2026 with an option to continue for a further four years. It is believed that option will not be taken up, which in turn has led McLaren to switch focus to a Le Mans hypercar programme.

you know i forsee big problems with Formula E upcoming, because so far the last 2 seasons of FE has been absolutely dreadful. im not going to repeat myself ive said the issue probally many times above. but miami was awful, for what happened they might as well have had 19 laps behind the safety car & then 7 proper racing laps. the formula e social media person is getting on my nerves. yeah you might have had 180 overtakes but how many were meaningful

im not sure why im persisting watching in its current form, maybe like Monaco next week its endless optimism that next week is going to be decent & it needs to be because we are in round 6 & bar round 3 with the rapid recharging pitstops. it has been a waste of everyone time

Good win for Nick Cassidy in the wet at the second race in Shanghai. It's odd seeing one of your kids on TV cheering the podium. Shame it wasn't the car he's working on that won, but a good day for the team.
 
ah i didnt know he was working on evans car. hopefully he brings him some luck i cant believe that since he won the opening round. evans hasn't scored a point

didnt see saturday because it was on itvx & by the time it had been uploaded. it was too late but i saw sunday it was a great win from cassidy. he was class of the field
