I'm not sure I believe anything we've seen so far is anything more than a livery painted on to a very primitive, early representation of the new regulations. Having said that, the gentleman's appendage looks pretty werid but I don't find it any more offensive than the gaping hole in the middle of the front wing and the tall and skinny rear wings that have always looked odd to me since 2009.

Until they decide to limit the front wings so that they can extend no further than the inner sidewall of the front tires, F1 fronts will be supremely ugly, no matter what the nose cone looks like. Right now, they look like anteaters with moose antlers on them. Not a good combination!

I like the Williams and Force India. To me, the front ends of both are a million times better than either the 'shark' type high noses or the transitional 'stepped' noses of the last couple of seasons.

I also love the Force India livery with the addition of some black, and I really love the all-blue Williams, which reminds me a bit of Tyrrells past (shame it won't stay that way).

I would rather a race winning car that looked like crap than a beautiful aesthetic machine that I spent most of my race pulling off the racing line to let other cars by ...

who is going to paint some pretend whiskers on the nose first .... Lotus ....
