Looks good from that angle. Interesting that they've ditched the pullrod front suspension too - guess the new regs mean there's not as much aero benefit to be mined from the airflow under the nose.

It's an incredibly sterile livery, blank and grey. I'm surprised you can even see it in the McLaren factory amongst all the blank and grey walls and empty work benches.

I mentioned this before but I went for an interview with McLaren once. I was chancing it as the role wasnt suitable at all, but you never know, and I got a free tour which was great. Anyhow, at one point I noticed a dead fly on a window sill. This was a quandary - do I mention the dead fly and risk coming across as a lunatic or someone mocking the company? I chose not to. I didn't get the job either though. Maybe it was a test?

I think it is a lighting cable.

Personally, I am more concerned with the tiling around the floor lighting not being the same orientation as the rest of the flooring!
