That's one goal roughly every two minutes. How fed up would you be after only the first 10 minutes of the game. I think the Ref should have just called it a day at half time for everyone's sake.

In my boys league, there are cup matches, which start as 7 a side, but if one team gets up to 10 goals, they must remove a player, and go to 6 a side.

Maybe a mercy rule?

Good point . At least English clubs are doing reasonably well in one European club competition this season, provided that Chelsea decide to play football, of course.

I wish all English clubs well in Europe, bar two, and Chelsea are one of the exceptions. Go Steaua!
