Head To Head Sebastian Vettel vs Daniel Ricciardo

Uhmm you know that the drivers can't hear each other on the radio, right?
No - he cant hear what Vettel is saying but his pit crew can

and the team would have been told about his driving which I did not see anything wrong compared to what Schumacher use to do and what Vettel has done in the past

Alonso knew who Vettel was going to be frustrated the longer he held him up

Suprisingly, it's not been mentioned yet, but does anyone think the real German talent is driving a Mercedes right now and that, given the same opportunities, he would have done an equal or better job than the current champion?

Well the general view seems to be a monkey could have done what the current champion did so why bother having the discussion?

You're very welcome. However I don't think a discussion on Nico Rosberg vs Sebastian Vettel really has its place on the Danial Ricciardo vs Seb Vettel thread.

Maybe start it as a topic? Will be happy to continue with my high standard contributions over there.

To me the real German talent is Nico Hulkenberg not Vettel or Rosberg

Interesting. I'm not so sure about Hulk yet. I'd really like to see him paired with a formidable team-mate or sat behind the wheel of a competitive car. He has, at times, looked like the real McCoy, but the jury is still out for me as far as he is concerned.

Perhaps we need a thread for this. Head to Head : German F1 Drivers, 2014

you mention competitive car which is the point - he deserves to be in one more so than Kimi Raikkonen

Hokenheim..will Vettel beat Ricciardo on his home turf. I have a feeling he might!

(Although Rosberg and Hulkenberg, may well beat them both)

Nicely put back on topic Titch.

Danny certainly has the upperhand at the moment and Seb has never had the best German GPs so you might be right.

Danny is very impressive at the moment.

Danny is brilliant at the moment. But what I'm saying, is that I think that all the stops will be pulled out for a Seb win. Even if it means a 20 second pit stop for Ricciardo.
Or we might see a very angry crowd of spectators.

Titch - That hasn't happened before, though. Webber lead home a Red Bull one-two at the Nurburgring in 2009, and also challenged for the win as Vettel relatively struggled in 2011.
