Ah yes of course, totally forgot about that.

I had seen some bits of Andros ice-racing before and found it hugely fun, like rallycross on ice. Shame it isn't more popular.
 
Never saw these before The Artist..... , looking at that last pic Senna is posing next to four different manufacturers and an array of different sponsors. I'm not sure we could see any of today's drivers being even allowed to do that by their respective backers. Conflicts of interests etc...
 
I'd never seen them before either, but remembered something about Senna trying rallying, so I searched them out- not exactly hard to find though!

It's also refreshing to see a driver with a crappy digital watch, rather than the sponsored watches they all wear nowadays!
 
In 1968, Graham had had dinner with Prince Rainier and Princess Grace the night before the race. I thought that was an interesting tidbit.

What gets me is this: compare the sublime beauty of the Lotus 49B with the eyesores of today!
