no-FIAt-please I think that's because he came out too fast of Casino Square. That's where the loss of grip came from rather than on the braking zone, on which he arrived too quickly. And the braking area is quite long at Mirabeau anyway being downhill.
Having a little compare and contrast on the Mirabeau corner between his pole lap and his "other" lap it would appear that he is far more central on the latter whilst he gets as wide as possible for the entry into the corner on his pole lap. There also seems to be some suspicious left-right movement in his steering as he comes down the hill.
He's either got too hot approaching Mirabeau and attempts to correct it but doesn't make the corner in time. Or it was deliberate.
(I'm sure somebody more technologically advanced would be able to create and embed a decent side-by-side comparison )
I don't believe it was deliberate but Rosberg's attitude doesn't help. He could (should) have apologised to Lewis and the others. As it is, he seems a bit smug about getting pole and has made it seem as though it could have been deliberate.
The BBC did that on the highlights show, comparing his pole lap with his last one. To me it just added to the suspicion, as everything looked identical until he started 'sawing' at the steering wheel well before he locked up approaching Mirabeau.
Very hard to call. The car looks nice and settled before he starts wobbling around long before the turn. And then he reverses back?!?!
IT does seem very convenient for Rosberg.
And that celebration.......
What Im more woried about is Hamiltons mindset, I can now see him either bogging down on the line trying too hard or having a 2011 type race and putting himself a long way behind Rosberg in the standings again.
And his comments about sorting this out like Senna don't give me much hope.
