Tweetgate II, the re-tweet...

You pedantic bugger :p (yeah I thought that too) stormy waters maybe ;)

The whole thing smacks of the playground to me - "He said he was my friend but now he isn't, he's checho's friend" - "I never said I was his friend" - "oh my bad, I need to get off the playground more"

Twitter done properly

What's this "Me bad." shit it isn't even English it is just baby talk, why is it cool to say it?

Me Meph me bad, me went to the shops...

Me is not a word to be used in grammar, it is you and I, not me and you or even you and me...

I suspect he meant to write "My bad", which is a well known American phrase circa 1970, now used worldwide.

Although Shakespeare was also known to use it ;)

Your love and pity doth the impression fill
Which vulgar scandal stamp'd upon my brow;
For what care I who calls me well or ill,
So you o'er-green my bad, my good allow?

I believe, that with Lewis' appreciation of poetry, this could well be the truth.
