Sky F1 2012

Is that muppet on Sky F1 dressed in a skin tight faux leather dress for real? How is Jenson even keeping a straight face?

My sky isn't being installed until monday so I have no idea of any quality except for the terrible intro theme, also like I said somewhere else I'm only actually paying 10 quid a month more. my point is I DON'T WANT SKY and I can't get Virgin because cable hasn't been laid around here also BT are not going to broadcast it on that crap rip off BT vision thing.
Not really having a go Mephisto and am glad you have what you want, just saying choice and compromise are subtly different.

I know your not Jen I feel like a failure I created a whole web site dedicated to changing this situation (the link is somewhere on this site) and it fell flat on its arse.

Subscribing to sky is like admitting defeat. For me anyway.

Wasnt sure what to think of it when it first started.... I gotta admit its the money you can see has gone into it that has sold it for me. And it really has sold it. First think being the 3D overview of the cars to go through the tech aspects which I thought were pretty impressive in comparison to the beeb. Dont get me wrong I like the coverage on the BBC and the relaxed commentary, but I was pretty impressed tonight and I hope they keep it up.

Its give me the fix I need for the week anyways LOL

Not a great deal I haven't seen before on the Beeb in one guise or another. The presenters were canned awful and didn't have a clue about F1, or even pretend well that they were interested in it. Ahhhh you wonder!! How did I see this as I don't have Sky? Well, I have the internet. That is all.

Hypothetically how could one use the internet to see sky. Hypothetically of course.

Just had to get the SkySports channels added to my Virgin package. £20 extra per month plus £7 for HD. I'll never watch any of the other sports channels. I cancelled all of my movie channels, which I watch regularly, and that still left me with a bill which is £13 more than I was previously paying. If I had kept the movies F1 would have done me in for £324.

Just a shame F1 HD isn't available on Virgin Media :( But I'd rather have all the races in standard def than just half of them in HD

I'll be happy to watch the BBC live races in HD (I assume they will be on BBC HD) and the rest on regular definition on Sky. I've had Sky movies and sports for years but have stopped short of HD as I refuse to pay an extra 180 Euros per year for something that should be free to subscribers by now.

Damn. They sold me the HD sports package and even though there is no HD F1 channel on Virgin. Cheeky buggers. I'll be calling them tomorrow.

Looks like I'll be watching half the races on BBC to get HD. So that's £240 to watch ten races in standard definition. An even worse deal than I thought.
