Sky F1 2012

Personally I think it may force the sale of the Murdoch held shares as they will be the problem with the licencing conditions. But I would expect the whole process to be buried deep in red tape for many years to come and we will hav forgotten about it when OFCom announce that the Murdochs have made a generous donation to their favourite "charity" and have been let off...

The Mrs has asked an interesting question... Obviously Brundle and Croft will be doing the superior commentary but which build up program will we watch when BBC are broadcasting? She wants a bit of Jake but i've had my fill of David 'Red Bull' Coulthard.

Im gonna have a n open mind and say I honestly cant answer the question as Ive not seen skys build up program as of yet. Will decide that once Ive had a couple of weeks of sky.

DC does my swede in as does JH and EJ so it's a no brainer for me and anyway the BBC kicked me in the financial bollocks so why should I watch their broadcasts when they forced me to pay for another?

Edit

They also forced me to listen to that prat Jonathan Legard for two years,,,,, unforgivable..

I didn't take too much of a financial hit getting sky and there are other things worth my extra pennies, (Game of Thrones season 2 in April) I'm recording the 1st show now on sky+ so I think I'm going to have to watch that before making a decision.

Of course there was another option - which was forking out for Sky and many have. It only became a real bugger when you couldn't actually afford the alternative.

Well all of this has been debated to death on other threads.

This one is for Sky and so far I'm quite pleased with what I've seen.
Brundle for one looks far more comfortable than whenever he was around Humphrey, Coulthard and Jordan.

Those of us who have got the financial breathing room have taken the sky option but its down to the BBC and the unique way they are funded that they were unable to pay the fees required.

Actually the blame should lie with BE for been the ruthless businessman that he is.

I'm sure your right Bro, as ever. However, I will never know about the efficacy of Sky because I decided it was one expense too bloody far.

Not going to argue with that Jen, it's expensive.

We were debating getting rid of Sky completely...until the BBC threw an F1 spanner in the works.

I think it's more to do with the effing Olympics and the incredible amount of money it has cost and is continuing to cost.

My sky isn't being installed until monday so I have no idea of any quality except for the terrible intro theme, also like I said somewhere else I'm only actually paying 10 quid a month more. my point is I DON'T WANT SKY and I can't get Virgin because cable hasn't been laid around here also BT are not going to broadcast it on that crap rip off BT vision thing.
