Marussia bid to use 2014 car blocked by F1 Strategy Group

It appears Force India have been hung out to dry a bit to veto Marussia's return when there has been constant speculations about their financial issues but other teams vetoed as well

It was a strategy group decision Il_leone, Sauber and Lotus had no say in it. The other 5 teams on the strategy group are the big 5. Force India are there representing the others as they were best of the rest last season. They voted first therefore as the vote wasn't unanimous they didn't need to go further. Bernie pointed out that there were three to four teams who would have voted no.

It was discussed on the previous page that it wasn't the best written article by the BBC but it does state in the 9th parahraph that it was a strategy group meeting.

The fact they singled Force India makes you wonder who leaked it that they appear to be most vocal against Marussia's return
