And with the same lens, of course. I remember finding loads of these types of images last year. They were everywhere. Top views, rear views, side views.

If you follow the link, the side view is quite interesting. You can see how early the McLaren nose begins to swoop downward.

It's still a brilliant comparison though.

Even if you make allowances for perspective, the nose of the Mclaren (its shot looks to be taken from a slightly higher camera angle) is still considerably lower than the Ferrari's, as can bee seen in the side view.

It seems to the untrained eye that everyone else has needed to make a compromise on car design in a place where McLaren found they had already circumnavigated the rule. Nice to see Sauber attempt a livery though!

I think the RBR step is less ugly than the Ferrari one...

I'm still not sure Mclaren will use that nose during the season.

A lower nose isn't always good. If we look at last year, i believe it was Virgin that had a nose that was to low at the beginning of the season. It hurt them bad, because there wasn't enough air that could go underneath the car.

On the assumption that the Mclaren nose isn't vastly different from, yet an improvement upon, last year's final version and likewise (on the underside profile at least) for the Red Bull, then I am still confident that the Woking Wonder will be fast.

That shot of the Lotus made me think of the MP4/27 as being graceful like a swan on a lake full of duck-billed platypuses.
