You cannot select any venue which will "host a 2012 Formula One race", but you need to run your championship at some circuits. Which would you choose?

For the avoidance of doubt, these are the FIA F1 circuits for 2012.

18 March Australian GP
25 March Malaysian GP
8 April Chinese GP
22 April Indian GP
13 May Spanish GP
27 May Monaco GP
10 June Canada GP
24 June European GP
8 July British GP
22 July German GP
29 July Hungarian GP
2 September Belgian GP
9 September Italian GP
23 September Singapore GP
7 October Japanese GP
14 October Korean GP
28 October Abu Dhabi GP
4 November Bahrain GP
18 November US GP
25 November Brazilian GP

What must we do, select a venue that is not on the 2012 calander as a host?

EDIT: IF so then I still think that Kyalami is a miss from the calander.

off the top of my head:

Magny Cours
Imola
Istanbul
Donington
A1/Red Bull Ring or whatever it's called thesedays
Basically anything not designed by Hermann Tilke.

Tilke remodelled the A1-Ring!

I can't think of many great tracks (not been ruined/abandoned) that are suitable for F1 (Bathurst). Adelaide possibly. Korea was great last year, have to wait and see if it can keep it up. Donington has barely changed in 80 years.

Ah didn't realise Tilke had remodelled the A1-Ring, haven't seen a race there for a while.

What, you mean like Turkey and A1 Ring?

As above. And Istanbul is an exception. Feel free to post your own ideas though ;)

I'll be as greedy and self-interested as the buggers who run the sport, shall I?

I'm thinking:

There is certainly one very difficult turn in that lot!
