Football 2011/12 Football Season

Man U look very strong this year - certainly stronger than Arsenal!! But I'm tipping Man City for the title, though.

Perhaps i shouldn't be commenting from just one match. but from what iseen from the charity shield, they'll be closer to relagation then then the premier league title. I know they won't be, but they were really really poor against Untied, Franlky spending the first half an hour trying to break man Utd legs and showing a complete lack of abilty of getting the ball to the strikers and creating chances. If it wern't for De Gea's mistakes United would of walked it. It really suprised me. I think it shows how important Tevez is though.

But you have to admit, Aguero is something special.

I don't know why Spurs bother going to Old Trafford. Might as well save the planet, and the petrol, and send 3pts by post. :(

It's a shame hardly anyone takes the League Cup seriously any more. Would the addition of Scottish teams spice it up a bit?

Not to get on my hobby horse again but there are alreday Welsh teams in it >:( so why not Scottish? Or is G just looking for someone Spurs can beat LOL (sorry, couldn't resist)

How dare you?!! LOL

In all seriousness, I have heard it suggested seriously as an option. The logistics of the UEFA Cup place would probably be troublesome though. Plus the Scottish FA would probably want the final at Hampden every other year I suppose, which would be irritating (since history shows Spurs are more likely than most to get the final...!)
