Some dates for the diary.

The teams are starting to announce when they're going to be launching their contenders for the 2010 season.

I suspect the designs will be similar to the 2009 cars, considering the rules have just been tweaked and not completely overhauled as they were from 2008 to 2009.

So far we have:

Monday 25 January
Mercedes

Thursday 28 January
Ferrari

Friday 29 January
McLaren

Sunday 31 January
Renault
Sauber

Monday 1 February
Toro Rosso

Friday 12 February
ProtonLotus

Do we need to start another thread for the teams which won't have launched their cars in time for the start of the season? Bernie still think at least one won't make it (but then he is mad). :snigger:

Lotus will be joined by US F1, Virgin and Campos and there has been speculation about the state of readiness of all of them.

Ecclestone said: "I think they'll have trouble getting to the first race. We'll wait and see. It's only a small problem. Finance.

"As long as we have 10 solid teams, it's all we need."

Campos and US F1, around whom most doubts are swirling, insisted to BBC Sport earlier this week that they would make the first race.
