The Formula One Alphabet Game

U is for Used Tyres. (aka scrubbed tyres)

Not seen in F1 for a while but common in the days when the teams would run a set of tyres in qualifying for a lap or two just to scrub the fresh surface off of them so they had more grip instantly in the race.

(just one thought. If we have been around the alphabet so many times, how come there arn't an equal number of answers for each letter lol )

I'm guessing that's because there have been a few duplicates.
No chance of that now with the new tables :D
 
B is for Barge boards

(also known as turning vanes. Now routine on all cars but designed by Gerard Doucarage and first used on the Lotus 98T which was the last of the JPS sponsored Cars.)
