Another unsurprising move in a series which is increasingly becoming a spec series.

Lotus are apparently also still planning to bring in their version by Belgium after having tested it in Germany and Hungary.

I read something a few days ago about Mercedes DDRS system being the reason for them going backwards.

It seems a bit pointless for teams to spend time and money developing it for a few races, knowing it's going to be banned for 2013.

Still, that seems to be the way with F1 lately.

It certainly doesn't seem to be helping them very much. I do hope we get to see McLaren's solution though.
