The Canadian GP secures a new 5 year deal from 2010 after the Canadian Government steps in to secure the race.

Now we just need the ink to dry on a contract for Silverstone and we are getting somewhere with the 2010 Calendar.

Good news for Canada but it needed the financial support of the Canadian government to resolve it.

Sadly that won't be the case for the British GP so unless Silverstone accede to Ecclestone's demands...
