Kimi Räikkönen

Probably one of the coolest drivers ever to grace F1 alongside James Hunt.

His part life-style may not have been to some teams liking in F1 but you can't deny that Kimi was probably one of the best drivers on the grid from 2003-09. He should have won more championships than he did!

Kimi won his one and only F1 Championship in 2007. Kimi won 18 races, 16 pole positions, scored 62 podiums and claimed 35 fastest laps in his time in F1.

Kimi is probably the must unluckiest driver to ever grace F1 and the amount of retirements he had no fault of his own were lots.

Kimi won his first GP in 2003 winning the Malaysian GP and he claimed his last victory in F1 at the 2009 Belguim GP.

Kimi started his F1 career in 2001 driving for Sauber, he then went on to drive for Mclaren and Ferrari before quitting the sport in 2009.

Kimi produced probably the 2 most funniest moments to happen in F1 over the last 10 years, when he said :censored: at the Brazilian GP in 2006 when Schumi first retired from F1 and the other one at the Malaysian GP where the race was red flagged and he went to the garage and got into shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops and started eating ice-cream.

Whether you liked him or not you can't deny his talent, he produced one of the comebacks of the past 10 season by starting near the back of the Japan GP in 2005 and went on to win it! Probably one of his best race wins in F1.

Did you like Kimi or Not?

Lotus lads he was with couldn't stop looking at him when he stripped his overalls off???!

Well I feel sorry for Kimi being in that team, not only are there strategies and pitstops are poor, the worst part of it is, that he has guys oogling at him! LOL

Its part of Kimi's contract that all must swoon at his half naked body.

In truth they were probably looking because they were thinking "he's going to get into trouble for not displaying the sponsor logo on his overalls on TV!"

I doubt Kimi's that annoyed, he would have known before he signed the contract with Lotus that he wouldn't be allowed to go rallying and if it was that big of a deal he wouldn't have signed.

"I'd like to do rally Finland this season as it fits with the calendar but you'll have to ask the team if it fits in my contract," Raikkonen said.

That quote can be read in more ways than one. Still, an extra bottle of vodka and a few ice creams should fix the problem. :)

Of more concern to him is the way that the team cannot give him steering with the type of feel that he needs.

I wonder why you posted that teabagyokel?

Anyway, I wonder does anyone think Kimi will get a win this year? I think he has the car but he just seems a bit tentative when behind someone, as if he's not really comfortable. I reckon Grosjean will get a win before Raikkönen gets one...

Well if he had gotten past Maldonado who blocked at the start, then I would say he probably would have won this race.

He does seem a bit tentative, but then going around the outside is not easy as he had to keep doing, and he did put a good move on Maldonado. But then there's that one move he got against Vettel in Bahrain, shame really.

I think he's a complete contrast to Schumacher when Schumacher came back. Schumacher didn't have the speed, but he had the racecraft. Raikkonen's still got the speed, but his racecraft isn't as up to scratch as it used to be.

Think Grosjean will win before Kimi, simply because Kimi's slower in qualifying due to having a smoother style similar to Button.

Great PR. Hope it's more exciting than just re-signing with Lotus, but as Lotus did all those pre-season PR videos with Raikkonen and Grosjean it's probably them again.
