Images of the Buddh International Circuit construction

The Indian GP organisers seem very confident.Contrary to having the extra time if the race was recheduled they wrote to the FIA stating that they did not want the race rescheduled.
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/92107 There appears to be no doubt, however, that India will revert back to October 30, with AUTOSPORT understanding that Delhi race organisers having written to the FIA expressing their unhappiness about moving to scheduled December 11 slot.

.........there was even snakes found on the track...

That was Bernie's idea to liven up the races.

As the changing of the calander has been found to contradict the FIA's own rules surely that means the race was always going to be 30 October right?

I love F1 but I find the amount of money being spent to built this circuit in what is technically a third world country a tiny bit morally dubious - but then I guess there are others equally as dubious. What price we see a Qatar GP on the horizon?

Wonder if it could get it's fangs through the riders leather suit, be interesting explanation in years to come as to why the rider crashed......

Courtesy of a mate of mine currently working in India. If this place is ready on time I'll be amazed...

I was thinking about going to this race; judging by these pictures, the race circuit may be ready, and the race may go ahead with a (very) late push, but can't see it being much fun. Looks shocking.

Maybe next year.

Don't know if these have been posted yet, but I'll post them anyway.

I can't see that being ready in less than a month.

Don't forget the FIA have to hold some test races on it at least a week before the F1 GP.

I reckon this track has the potential to be Tilke's best now that Turkey is no longer on the calendar. There are several high speed esses in the middle part of the lap and the undulations result in a few unsighted corners. And there's only one really tight corner. And if the lap times are what they predict, the average speed will be over 140mph.

Here are the latest updates. They will be ready no doubt.
