and it had one of those 1.5 litre turbo engines that were whisper quiet compared to the old V8 and V12's that preceded them.

F1 must have been really crap in those days...

The late, great Ronnie Peterson in one of the many ugly Marches he drove, usually to far better results than they deserved. Btw, this particular car is a modified F2. Their F1 for that season was so bad that they abandoned it and modified their lower formula car.
