It seems wrong not to recognise brilliance in the field of Captain Cock-up for the Clip the Apex awards, so a booby prize is going to be given out to the winner of the vote detailing Mistake of the Year 2008! Nominees will include, mostly, the title contenders since they really messed up this year at some point!
