So the FIA have put out a provisional calendar for next year. At first glance it doesn't look that much different to this year. There will 21 races again it seems. Read 'em and weep.

not much difference really is it. like the end of triple header because not just mechianics but as a fan I feel a double header is enough. but I not a fan of F1 creeping into the festive month in abu dhabi just advent calendars & F1 just feels weird.. someone mentioned it would be 4th time its happened & the 1st time for 59 yrs. since 1963 south African GP when jim clark won on the 28th december but I guess logistically makes sense as brazil to abu dhabi Monday to Thursday seems very tough

22nd September Singapore Singapore

so good they named it twice ;)

They did the same with Monaco ;) I just copied what they put :)

I didn't like the triple header either, I like F1, but I don't want it every weekend thanks!

It is not the first year of absurdity in the calendar.
Instead:
September 8-Italian Grand Prix
September 22-Singapore Grand Prix
September 29-Russian Grand Prix
October 13-Japanese Grand Prix
Оbviously required
September 8-Italian Grand Prix
September 22 – the Grand Prix of Russia
October 6 – Grand Prix of Singapore
October 13-Japanese Grand Prix

After all, in addition to the money spent on the wrong logistics,
additional nervous and physical forces of administrative and technical personnel
of all teams are spent

It seems that the FIA is so saves money that does couldn't buy for the main compiler
of the season calendar a normal geographical Atlas :)

To be honest olegg we can go further than that. Logistically the calendar should go:

Brazil
Mexico
USA
Canada
Britain
France
Belgium
Germany
Austria
Spain
Monaco
Italy
Hungary
Azerbaijan
Bharain
Abu Dhabi
Russia
China
Singapore
Japan
Australia

Or you could reverse it and go the other way on alternate season.

We could we need to keep tradition for me. austraila has to be the opener.
Spain & monaco is start of European season
Britain has to be in july,
Hungary has to be july & holiday time.
Beligium & Monza are after summer break.
Brazil & Japan has to be in title run in

Australia was always the closer for me. The summer break didn't use to exist and Brazil was second race of the season. Plus the season never went over 16 races. Traditions make way for other traditions.

Plus of you ran it in reverse you'd get most of what you wanted anyway.

I just looked at this years calendar again and those races run in the same order this year, so they're stupid enough to do it twice without anyone saying anything.

Nice Q&A in the programme with Ross Brawn, he seems to think that it should be 24 races a season. Unless something is done we could actually lose 2 races, maybe even 3; that should be more of a priority than searching for more venues.
