I was so excited, 10 laps from the end I went out to wash some cat sick off the patio. Up to that point it was a 1, the last 5 laps got it an extra point.

I went 7 - I thought it was a intriguing race we had a few good battles & the last 7 laps were amazing. the tv director didn't know where to focus for best because we had both 1-2 & 3-4 all up for grabs

You have to admit, since they stepped in on the oil burning. Ferrari isn't at the same level as the Merc. Thus the chances off dull races has increased significant.

The comment I was responding too was suggesting the race was dull due to Hamilton's gearbox penalty. Which I Don't agree with.

but the problem with that is that rules are the rules & we cant have teams breaking the rules to get closer & more exiting racing. you don't give lower ranked teams in the fa cup a goal headstart or have Usain bolt doing 110m in Olympic 100m final.

The thing is. There is a rule that says you can't burn oil, but there isn't one that says what you can put in the oil. You can put kerosene (for instance) in the oil and burn that. And who knows Merc has still found a way around that.
