Top 10 Quizzes - 2003 Brazilian Grand Prix

It is 10 years today since one of the daftest Grands Prix anyone can remember; a result the FIA got wrong, a podium with not a single person standing in the right place, the stupidest moment of Fernando Alonso's career, and a first win for Giancarlo Fisichella - Jordan's swansong.

So here are the 10 finishers that day, and a question for each of them.

1. Giancarlo Fisichella enjoyed three wins in his career. How many podiums did he stand on in total?

19. (Half point for anything in 17-21 range)

2. Kimi Raikkonen's only non-start in a race he entered in F1 was at the 2005 United States Grand Prix. Where had he qualified?

3. This Grand Prix was Fernando Alonso's 2nd podium and his 2nd consecutive podium. His next two consecutive podiums came in Germany & Hungary in 2004. Name the three drivers also to stand on the podium in those two Grands Prix.

Michael Schumacher for 1/5 of a point.
Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button for 2/5 of a point each.

4. David Coulthard lead the race for 26 laps. What is the longest amount of laps he lead a race for subsequent to the 2003 Brazilian GP?

Just 1 lap, on 6 occasions - Indy and Suzuka in '03, Nurburgring and Suzuka in '05, Nurburgring in '07 and Montreal in '08

5. Heinz-Harald Frentzen was responsible for the middle two of Jordan's victories, and finished 5th at Interlagos. Where did he finish at the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix?

4th. Half a minute behind winner Hill.

6. What was Jacques Villeneuve's best result after the end of 2002?

4th at Imola in 2005, which schadenfraude dictates was after a BAR disqualification!

7. In Ralf Schumacher's first 7 Grands Prix, he failed to reach the finish in 6. Where did he finish in the other?

3rd in Argentina. He scored points in all but one of his finishes in 1997.

8. In Jarno Trulli's long career, Michael Schumacher scored the most wins with 69 victories in Jarno's time. Which driver is 2nd?

Fernando Alonso - 27.

9. What was Mark Webber's best finishing position in the Championship before joining Red Bull in 2007?

10th for Jag in 2003 and Williams in 2005

10. Cristiano da Matta scored 13 points in his career. Which Brazilian finished with 12?

Christian Fittipaldi
1 + 1/2 + 2/5 = 1.9

My maths tells me that the logical number of points in Q3 for getting one of JB or RB correct should be 0.25 or 1/4 (not 2/5 = 0.4), but then I may be wrong.:coffee:
