So the closing ceremony is a Coldplay concert, I can live with that. Also shows what a fantastic concert venue this stadium will be after everything is done. Let's hope some football team doesn't fuck it up by ripping the track up.

Whatever happens, the track will stay as the World Athletics championships will be in the stadium in a few years.

There was something on Sports Week on 5Live about them putting temporary seating over the track for football. As long as it stays. As much as I love football it shouldn't be the be all and end all when it comes to stadiums. The UK needs, and will use, a first class athletics venue.
