So the closing ceremony is a Coldplay concert, I can live with that. Also shows what a fantastic concert venue this stadium will be after everything is done. Let's hope some football team doesn't **** it up by ripping the track up.

Whatever happens, the track will stay as the World Athletics championships will be in the stadium in a few years.

There was something on Sports Week on 5Live about them putting temporary seating over the track for football. As long as it stays. As much as I love football it shouldn't be the be all and end all when it comes to stadiums. The UK needs, and will use, a first class athletics venue.

Hmm... Just heard that Jay-Z will be on the closing ceremony. As if Rihanna wasn't bad enough...
