I'm waiting for the new Oblivion game too...my lady and I can't wait for our lives to be syphoned away by playing it! LA Noire is also on my hitlist soon.
I heard about it, believe it is a outstanding title, I think I will do some reading about it. I head that the Elder Scrolls New Skyrim has a bit more violence in it and more interactive kills, I guess the idea comes from the success Oblivion had with its mods.

Not a new oblivion only a new Elder Scrolls, Oblivion is Elder Scrolls 4
The COD modern warfares are to quick and easy to finish.

It is overrated EA extortion......at least they have NFS Shift 1/2 to make up for there short changing of the consumers with 1 hr to finish titles.
I'm a big player of F1 2010 and 2011 when it comes out. I also like GT5, NFS, TDU2 and pretty much any game that I can use my wheel on!
F1 is pretty good for an F1 game, it had a few teething problems but settled down in no time. If you are thinking of getting a copy I would wait a few more months for 2011 which is looking like it will have a lot of this seasons new features such as poorly lasting tyres, KERS & DRS.
On another note, PSN is going under maintenance again on Tuesday night which hopefully should restore all the services back to normal. This should mean we will be able to access the free games that Sony are offering to make up for the extended downtime.
PS3 users will allowed to choose any 2 out of 5 games to download and keep forever! The games are:
Infamous
Dead Nation
Wipeout HD
Ratchet and Clank
Little Big Planet.
There are other goodies as well including a free 30 days of PlayStation Plus.
