Jenson Button

Arguably the best ever driver in mixed conditions, all his wins at Mclaren have come in those conditions. His last race win in the dry came at the 2009 Turkish GP.

Button is known for his smooth driving style and is normally seen in must races doing one less stop than his rivals for tyres.

Buttons also know to be a bit of a practical joker and will take part in anything fun.

Since his debut in 2000 Button has won the majority of hearts in this country. But what is your favourite JB win?

Mine has to be Hungaroring 2006, in argubly a midfield team and he won the race in those mixed conditions to take his first win. I can remember James Allen been in tears almost and that was the first race Anthony Davidson ever commentated on.

Well, you don't know how much he had to pay him off, or how much Eric is costing them.

Oh, he kept Sam, who resigned.

But to be fair, the technical impact won't be manifest until next year, but then, everyone can say that it is due to Alonso.

So why did not Ron get sack for his winless seasons in 1994-1995-1996 apart from scoring a few podiums which did not please Marlboro who left and nearly Mercedes who had much better return from doing DTM

He could do as Regga did with Ensign and go to Marussia to attract a big sponsor to keep the team going. That would be quite a legacy, as long as it doesn't end in the same way.

Maybe if it was Lotus (formerly Benetton) or Williams who were in trouble then possibly but he doesn't have any previous affiliation with the struggling teams so no personal ties like with Regga and Enfield.

If Jenson ends up without team because Alonso is going to McLaren, send him our way. The way I see it, Kimi needs to be shown the door, at least Jenson would help develop the car ...

Given the rain that is forecast for Brazil; suppose that JB were to win in changeable conditions; would McLaren really fancy the sponsor backlash of getting rid of their last winner, in favour of keeping KMag.....

Well seeing that Mercs are dominating the only team likely to get close to them are Williams so I doubt JB has a chance.

Massa is good in the wet isn't he

if Mclaren are prepared to repair a lot of broken chassis next season then that is the risk they will take with KMag because what if Alonso psychologically destroys him

Jenson has seen and done it and would give it his best shot plus there is mutual respect between the two

-------------------
As for Hamilton quote - that shows the respect that is been developed between those two and he knows just how good Button can be It is nothing against Alonso or kiddology being involved to wind up Ron and Mclaren
