I've missed about 56 pages of rhetoric on this thread. Was that a bad thing?
Seems Jenson is recognising the loss of Lewis in response to a question - interestingly he doesn't seem to feel he'll miss Lewis, but then the vagaries of the McLaren car and tactics have made them each other's most obvious competitor with little hope of a title for a couple of seasons.
However, there's a presentation that I've interpreted to reflect my opinion, and I assume a substantial percentage of the paddock, the inference that Lewis' work is off circuit. This is obviously being the basis of him being with a new new team.
My feeling with Lewis though is that if he was half as good at racding off the track he'd be untouchable, I think Fernando feels the same and I think Jenson at least suspects it. But this is potential, not reality, so for all you breat beaters out there I'm not saying Lewis is unbeatable, just that he has that potential.
By the way, smoothe the rough edges off half the drivers on the F1 grid and the same would be true - Lewis' advantage is he's already fast for a race distance.
