ii) Eau Rouge was uphill, the corkscrew is ridiculously dangerous looping down to the left.... It'd be like racing Spa backwards!

I suppose an even more insurmountable problem would be that the course is too short - the lap record is about 65 seconds for an indy car - F1 cars would probably be under a minute nowadays

Why does there have to be a certain time length with circuits? All circuits nowadays seem to be between 1:20-1:50. I personally wouldn't mind a shorter circuit, they can just add more laps.

If the corkscrew would be like racing eau rogue backwards, then why not just run the race backwards at laguna seca and run the corkscrew backwards?
