F1 is back at the emasculated Hockenheim circuit this week for the German instalment of the season. We've finally found out why Red Bull are so fast in qualifying but don't have the same advantage in the race. Mclaren might have sorted their aero upgrades so could these take them past Red Bull in race trim?
Ferrari again claim they should have won in Britain if those pesky stewards hadn't got involved (cue Scooby Doo type laughter), will they come good in Germany? And what of Mercedes? Their home race and, if memory serves, they have bought up whole grandstands in the past for their employees to cheer on the Mclaren version of the Silver arrows. Wonder if they will do the same for this race?
For what it's worth I'm going for a Red Bull 1-2 with Webber leading home Vettel. Minor placings as follows:
1. Webber
2. Vettel
3. Button
4. Kubica
5. Hamilton
6. Alonso
7. Massa
8. Rosberg
9. Barrichello
10. Sutil
And where's the Red Baron I hear you ask? Sitting in the pits crying into his energy drink just after mid-distance.
