saw the F1 movie, enjoyed it. Beautifully shot, solid storyline. I liked how they spent the first 20 minutes pointing out how ridiculous it is for someone his age to make a comeback.Sure, as hardcore F1 fan, you can nitpick, Belgian GP in November, Brands Hatch being Jerez, sonny hayes being Schumacher’s teammate in ’93, or 1 minor floor upgrade suddenly turning the car from backmarker to frontrunner. But it’s Hollywood, you have to suspend reality. No different to Rush & the whole season being at brands hatch, and that was still a great film. thumbs up to F1 for a success
Also, not sure I get the complaints about the female representation. I thought the film showed women in a great light proving people wrong & succeeding, like a female Adrian Newey. And people do forget: 1st rule of Hollywood… there has to be a romantic interest.
