but on their choices it should be tsunoda decent season this yr. beat riccardio overall beat lawson on a small sample. & he has the most experience. as if they go lawson shows theyve learnt nothing from gasly & albon. chucking a driver in deep end with such little expierence

I do tend to think that Perez should probably have retired at the end of last year - after achieving the runner’s up position…

agree but sportsman never know when to quit & believe they are capable of recapturing their years after theyve hugely declined. Federer, Nadal & Murray examples of that in tennis

red bull handled this dreadfully as well. tell him he's leaving at the end of the year in monza. as 1) it helps him find a drive elsewhere. now hes stuffed as everywhere is full up. 2) like vettel at aston martin knowing he's out regardless. the pressure might lifted & we might have seen old checo

It's hard to remember now but at the start of the season he was doing ok, then suddenly, whatever they did to the car after Miami meant while Verstappen was still winning races, Sergio never troubled the podium again. That drop off in performance is quite bizarre.

It reminds me a little of Jenson Button in 2012. For 3 races, he was absolutely nowhere, whilst Hamilton was at the front.

Many people, at the time, criticised McLaren for trying to fix the car for Button - but ultimately, this made the car more competitive at the end of the season for both drivers…

I wonder if Lawson will over drive the car. However Tsunoda is treated badly if he doesn't get the seat maybe we should call out Red Bull for showing disrespect to Honda and Tsunoda.

when max coasted past him after 20 laps. & cantered to victory. he lost something that day he's never been able to be recover from

hope Sergio perez is remembered for his brilliant drives in sauber Malaysia 2012, his 2 monaco podiums & incredible win in sakhir at force india & his greatest drive 2022 singapore win in the red bull. not last season where it was cruel how red bull treated him made him prolonging the agony as a dead man walking

as much i have slagged him off this last 18 months & said he doesnt deserve to be on the grid. as that the brutal nature of F1. still like him as a person & at his best he was a brilliant midfield driver & he did have a few world class driver like singapore 2022

i think this more Lawrence stroll wanting the best people & signing them. as he has always had a superstar alongside lance. Vettel & Alonso. but he got to be worried his son going to get destroyed

but of course its a huge complement to Newey that like any driver he wants to be in the best car. obviously he thinks newey is the best bet
