After the Russian debacle I decided to voluntarily miss this race live, first time in many moons so watched it when I got home and was pleasantly surprised so I gave it an 8

6 I feel a bit mean, looking at the other scores. However it was a good race, not outstanding, but better than Sochi. But there was only one fight and that was between the top two. Time was when there would have been a few battles to keep our eyes on.

7 from me. Before I watched it I accidentally read a comment from someone on the internet saying it was the best race for years, so my hopes were rather high, It wasn't the best race for years and it did have quite a few periods where not a lot was happening, but the start, overtaking, and close lead battle more than made up for it.
