Look at the back lower part of the sidepods. Definitely different from the E20. Also the nose looks different and potentially even uglier

I must say I am a little disappointed to see that step again. Lotus had one of the better steps last year, but to see one this year is unacceptable.

Basically they said they haven't figured out a way to get downforce from a modesty panel to compensate for the extra weight, so it makes perfect sense for them not to have one.

The launch is a bit underwhelming but not really sure what I was expecting, maybe in the next day or two some clever people will be able to look at the pictures and point out the significant differences but I'm struggling. There's some more pictures here: http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2013/01/28/lotus-e21-launch-pictures/ but they're all computer generated I think and also seem to be very cleverly done to not reveal anything interesting whatsoever.

Josephiah That looks like it was taken in a pit garage so I'd say it's an old picture, can't be certain though. From some angles it's very difficult to pick out the stepped nose.
