I would have thought that in that case they wouldn't have needed 84 laps to find out just how much/little grip there is. They could need those laps once they get the new car going. Unless Ross Brawn thinks he's hit the spot again.
Massa has also partnered Schmacher and Villeneuve so I think he wins.
In fact the only team-mate Massa has ever had who has not been a world champion is Nick Heidfeld although lets remember Kimi wasn't a world champ when he became Massa's team-mate

He just needs Heidfeld and Fisichella to become World Champions for the set. And that is (Checks for EvilWhippet) unlikely to happen!
Yeah - although strangely Kimi is the only person to win a title whilst Massa was their team-mate - Schumacher and Alonso have come close but not actually won it.

Ahh I hadn't realised Massa had Villeneuve as well, triple world champions teamates is something yeah he wins on that count.

Ferrari had the most laps during testing last year and Mclaren had the fewest laps. In the end Mclaren beat Ferrari hands down.
Surely the "bridesmaid" award has to go to Rubens? Schumi, Button, and even Johnny Herbert beat him to Stewart's first win...
Interesting isn't it that in 31 years only 5 team-mates to a world champion have gone on to win it themselves afterwards (Rosberg had already won his) although Prost did it twice.
It really goes to show that however much they insist they do no F1 team ever run a 'fair' competitive team - there is always a number 1 and number 2 - the exception to this rule seems to be Mclaren in the 80's and the dominant Williams 90's period. But I guess both teams were so far in front they could afford to let them fight.
Goes to show though - you can only have 1 superstar per team.

For reference, I think a race distance at Jerez would be 69 laps. So Kovalainen did two full race distances today, which I'm sure Caterham will be over the moon with.
