McLaren had problems with the floor burning at Silverstone 2010. They sorted it then and will this time - eventually.

I've lost the permission to edit my posts on page two. :(
I will post the list of lap times at the end of the day.

There are reports from both McLaren and Torro Rosso about "burning" parts due to the new exhaust flows. May explain why Jenson hasn't done much running this morning as they try to sort it out as the part they are reporting is the floor :s

Yeah but as long as its quick who cares about a slightly burnt driver eh? they could just line it with ice and hope it doesn't scar too much

P.S: am I risking expultion from the website by saying I don't think the Mclaren is that much of a looker but just more appealing than the other? I mean if one Sandwich was 3 days out of date and the others were 10 days out you still wouldn't describe the 3 days out of date Sandwich as appetising would you?

Personally I like the trousser press fronted Sauber and am looking forward to someone catching a lift back to the pitlane by surfing on the front.

probably - but I thought it might be interesting to check the times in pace terms. For instance Kimi's 1:19's were the same as last years quickest time here.

Which just strengthens my "Kimi comesback by topping the time sheets" headline theory to bring in the sponsors

Cars on fire? Cars disintegrating? its like wacky races out there!

I bet you by the first GP though we still only have like 1 retirement

I'll be less sceptical if he continues to top the timesheets..

His longest run has been 9 laps, most have been 4-5 lap runs.
