Football 2011/12 Football Season

Spurs have a decent team, an improvement on last season, but I'm very aware that much of the reason they're third is that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all substantially worse than they were. Two wins for Arsenal doesn't make them any better in the scheme of things (as we will see, no doubt, against Milan tonight); nor does two defeats for Spurs.

As for the substitutes bench, Sandro and Livermore had the better of Carrick and Scholes on Sunday without question. Once van der Vaart, Bale and Parker are available for selection we should be even better - not that our performances have been any worse than they were earlier in the season, the Emirates game excepted.

Bad result for the mighty Dons - despite dominating (including missing a penalty) we lost 1-0 to Yeovil.

I have a feeling that, without Messi, Barcelona wouldn't be the world beaters they are now. That just shows how good this man is.

Yep that's exactly what I feel. And to all those who say that Messi wouldn't be as great as he is without his teammates, and Zidane was probably better because he won a World Cup...Come on didn't Zidane have 10 teammates as well, and it's not Messi's fault, that the other Argentines are average (and their FA chose to have a dumbass Maradona at their last WC coach)

Messi is the best ever, by a country mile!!! No one can touch him, even Rooney admitted it on Twitter tonight...

You could turn that around and say the same for Messi.

He is great, but there are many players in that Barcalona team that contribute to the success but get overshadowed by the goal scorer.

Example, Van Persie with Arsenal, the amount of great passes and balls that he gets from other players goes unnoticed while his goals get the recognition, and most are tap ins, but some are quality.
