If memory serves me correctly, Pole Position was a co-op game from the 1980's and could be found in most good seaside-resort game arcades around the country.
It reminds me of Kimi's special trick at Spa from 2-3 years ago when he went miles off the track to get a massive slingshot effect out the corner. Kimi was not penalised and these two moves were no where near as bad as that, with Vettel's being the least illegal.
It was smart driving from Seb and also strange to see him complete an overtake
Also, looking again at Sportsman's posted clip, you can see how much of the track that Button uses. This I presume is the normal line for that corner and his Mclaren is all bar the width of the left front wheel off the circuit as well.
By definition it should have garnered a penalty, but penalizing that maneuver would have discouraged something you're trying to embrace more than ever, overtaking.
I dunno, I reckon I'm more interested in the possibility of overtaking rather than overtaking per se - i.e. I would have liked to see a bit more of a battle for the place, which is what I felt we were deprived of by Vettel's manoeuvre...
