I'm sorry to have to say it but there is only one driver of this year and its Seb Vettel. Yes we know he has the best car but boy has he made good use of it.

Vettel is driving a bullet proof car which is faster than anything else on the circuit and his team mate is half the man. I expect Vettel to be 1st.

Alonso is driving the third fastest car and is currently 2nd in the championship ahead of three drivers in more competitive equipment and one in the same.

Alonso for me. I don't like the chap, but he has been flawless this season.

I agree if I had to rate the top drivers season it would go in this order Alonso, Vettel, Hamilton/Button and then Massa/Webber.

Not arguing against Alonso having a flawless season but I still think you can't look past Vettel - Its one thing having a fast bullet proof car and its another bringing the bacon home so often - just ask Mark Webber!

I listen to them talking afterwards and I think Fernando's "I Fucked You" was in response to Vettel asking him where he came from at the start.

Very good point, I think Alonso has been the best driver of the year so far.

I'd probably agree, along with Button to be honest. He's surpassed what I thought was possible of him this year. Still hasn't won in the dry outside of a Brawn though, has he?

Vettel has undeniably been the most consistent and Alonso has been the best. But the Ferrari look very lethargic at the moment and I’d be very surprised if he retains second spot.
