Yeah, that isn't Bonds finest hour. That and the follow up, Die Another Day are both pretty weak.

A shame, as The World Is Not Enough arguably had the strongest line up of Bond girls if I remember correctly.
The Machinist. The slowest film I have ever partially seen. It is very rare that I won't watch a film to the finish but I could only handle 50 minutes of no plot whatsoever.

Watched Avatar on Sunday evening, it seemed to be based on CGI is great, never mind the plot. Mind you, it was in Italian. Did that make a difference?

No, neither do I understand much Italian which I presume is what you meant. 
Saw Avatar about 3 times in 3D, as it was quite a novelty at the time- grew very weary of the "Dances with Wolves meets Braveheart via a rehash of Aliens" plot, but some of the visuals were stunning. My missus and I refer to the film as "Blueheart" now.
