There's a band here in Canada called The Tragically Hip and I don't think they made a dent anywhere but here and they are very good. Here's the album version of their song "Highway Girl" and you should also listen to the live version that is commonly know as the double suicide version.

For me, the best band to have come from Canada are the Barenaked Ladies. I finally got to see them live last year. Absolutely brilliant.

So it's 6 minutes to 2 in the morning and I'm wide awake. I have just discovered this song by Pubic Image Ltd. John Lydon, Ginger Baker and Steve Vai. Absolutely awesome. The Steve Vai guitar solo at the end is fantastic. Enjoy:
