If you put it to the Sky F1 channel now they're building a Williams! Also coverage for the Oz GP starts at 4:30 so i'll drag myself out of bed and onto the sofa! You shall also find me in chat!
I have just bought the minimum sky tv package with F1 as an add on but the good thing is it is only costing me £10.00 per month, this is because I have put my broad band and phone with them.
Before I was paying that rip off service called BT £25.00 per month for Broadband + £15.00 per month telephone Total £40.00
The whole Sky package with F1 comes to £50.00 per month and at the moment it is completely free installation and. sky HD box
As much as I dislike paying for my F1 and Sky that ain't a bad deal.
As an aside did you know that BT try to charge 40 quid for bt hotspot, that's 40 quid for an internet service you can get for fuck all in any cafe, pub, shopping centre and just about anywhere else you can think of..
I am still thinking about getting Sky......... but I would be glued to it for too long.
Earlier in this thread, there are posts from 22-25 on page 2, I think.....relating to a Tetrabyte? box. Will store more programmes.
But with terabyte box with so much recorded such as movies and HD programmes I still have over 50% left! And it's not me who just uses the box, it's my brother and girlfriend!
While the normal box we always had to delete programmes without watching them to save space.
I upgraded my old box with a 640GB drive, it makes a huge difference in what you can keep.
Once Sky released the official 1TB box I upgraded to that; I don't think we've ever got close to 50% full and that's with pages and pages of mostly HD stuff.
I do know that Sky will be looping the races for at least a week I don't think i will be recording much also I can save onto a memory stick and transfer that onto an external hard drive If necessary.

My TV has a personal recorder built into it this is just a usb port that I can play from or record to via a memory stick a lot of modern tv's have this function if you do not have it there are other ways to do it using the video out connection and a cam corder or your DVD player has probably got one so you can feed sky though the dvd (as long as it is a recorder) and do it that way.
