I think the giveaway for me were the half tyres embedded in bitumen / concrete used as primitive "kerbs" ... or the "try not to end up out here" markers...

It is indeed. Car 6 is Jim Clark 1964. I've driven this many times in Grand Prix Legends (as well as "Snowitude", which speaks for itself). I found this every bit as difficult as the Nordschleife......

Have you tried Clermont and Opatjia (with lachelle update)? They are great fun in the '69 cars.

Clermont yes, not Opatjia though. Still love the Eagle Weslake over any other GPL car (original or modded) to drive. Favourite circuit is still Spa, least favourite (as I'm incapable of a clean lap) is Mexico.
