1954, and Nino Farina drives past the burning wrecks of Mike Hawthorn and Jose Froilan Gonzalez's cars. In 1955 this race was the venue for the first Formula One victory by a British driver in a British car, when Tony Brooks won in a Connaught.
Aaaah...I know this one but I don't want another go just yet! Beautiful circuit though, and quite, quite insane. This is by far and away not the most dangerous part... lol
The chicane through the legs of a railway viaduct must have been particularly fun, and the turn through the centre of the town itself was a little on the narrow-and-lines-with-buildings side for my taste!
